Halloween Shrine for That's Crafty

This is a first for me as I've never made anything remotely macabre before.  I've been watching the Borgias which has been quite grisly in parts. One such incident was in the final episode and the poisoning of Rodrigo Borgia.  His taster ingest a large amount of the stuff and the next thing he had blood oozing from his eyes, it was rather gruesome. ( I'm a big wus really LOL!)

If you'd like to see the full project please do pop over to Thatsbloggingcrafty for more details.

Have a great day and Happy Crafting XX

This is great. The colours are very rich yet the overall effect is of something quite dark and sinister. Brilliant atmosphere.

I'm a wuss as well. Didn't watch the Borgias but remember reading some historical novels years ago (may have been Jean Plaidy)about Lucriezia and Cesare - what a family.

Love the colours.

Hi Paula
I can relate as macabre is not my "thing" either.
In your case we never would have guessed this is a first for you. Such an atmospheric piece of art and amazing texture.

P.S. Are you enjoying Downton?

Paula, it is gorgeous,,your colours add spookyness to the scene, and the stamps you used, are so wonderful.
I would love seing the Borgias if I could-but would close my eyes in certain scenes, :-)

I missed the blood leaking from the eyes over at That's Crafty. For such a wuss, you're very good with the gore :-) I'm the same though. Jump at even the cheesiest horror film but like making gruesome and spooky stuff.
